Launch event for Beautiful Bridal Boutique in Westbourne

There’s a new bridalwear shop in town and it’s the Beautiful Bridal Boutique in Westbourne.

We recently attended their launch event and saw their exclusive range of great British designers like Amanda Wakely, Suzanne Neville, Sassi Holford and Ritva Westenius.

Sandbanks’ famous red phone box

The red phone box at Sandbanks has long been a photographer’s favourite, especially for quirky wedding photographs like the images we take for our iWed wedding photography service.

The phone box’s future had been put in doubt recently after Studland Parish Council decided not to adopt it for £1 when offered the chance by British Telecom.

Fears about the cost of upkeep had dissuaded the council, but now BT have said that there are no plans to remove the phone box even though the council declined their offer.

A BT spokesman told The Daily Echo that they would not remove a kiosk where there is a clear social need, last year 41 call were made from the phone box.

Having used the phone box for numerous photoshoots we’re glad it’s staying, even if it is clear that it’s used more for photographs than it is for phone calls!

Britons fall out of love with marriage but in love with iWed

The number of weddings has fallen to a 100 year low with fewer weddings than in any year since 1895.

A total of 232,990 couples got married in 2008, the lowest number since 1895, say the Office for National Statistics.

This is a drop of 1% in a year from 235,370 in 2007 and the marriage rate (the number of marriages per head of population) fell to its lowest level since records began in 1862.

But despite this Seeker Photography are seeing an increase in interest in our new iWed wedding photography service. Woodland wedding at Shuttleworth for Stef and Alex

The Shuttleworth Estate in Bedfordshire is probably better known for it’s collection of vintage aircraft, but it’s also the location of the beautiful Swiss Gardens.

These woodland gardens were the perfect location for the recent wedding of Stef and Alex.
